After launching the ThruFlow™ Legacy Series panels, we set a goal to improve upon the durability and eco-friendliness of our flagship design even further. Thus the Surge panel was born.
The Surge Series includes two models: Surge 50 and Surge 60. These panels are based on the Legacy design, but with extra open space integrated into each panel. Surge 50 allows 50% of light to pass through each panel and Surge 60, as the name implies, permits 60% of light to pass through each panel.
The Surge panels’ extreme durability and open design make it a great solution for docks and marinas — private or commercial.
Despite the larger open construction, the Surge panels are more durable than our original Legacy design. Our Surge panels utilize medium glass fiber reinforcement in a Polymer base compound. As a result, our Surge panels can withstand 60% greater load capacity and 40% greater impact than our Legacy and Impact product lines.
